The Boston Arts Consort

music      culture       literature

Drawing from the many talented artists and scholars from Boston and abroad since 2008, the Boston Arts Consort presents programs that combine the aesthetic, cultural, and literary aspects of its themes for a multifaceted and enjoyable audience experience.

The Boston Arts Consort developed naturally out of director Linda Papatopoli's lifelong interest in the arts and world culture, and her career as a classical pianist.

At the heart of its programming is the music and culture of Spain. Varied and colorful, events throughout the year highlight classical music, Zarzuela, poetry and cuisine, and are often accompanied by lecture presentations by Spanish cultural lecturer Margarita Campos. Boston's popular Spanish cuisine expert and teacher, Chef Luis De Haro, provides delicious food for our events.

Whether presenting Goyescas: When Art Becomes Music, or From Spain to Cuba and Back, the Boston Arts Consort offers programs that are thoughtfully designed and passionately executed.

The Consort is in preparation for an exciting program of music, dance and cuisine, "Una Tarde en Espana" this coming April. Please visit our events page for more information.
